Did you see that in the news or are you back OTR? I went to Reno one time when I was with Abilene. I enjoyed the drive very much. I loved driving by Walker Lake,

My company is getting cameras in the trucks. Facing out only but they are smart cameras. They have an AI. When you drive by a speed limit sign it reads the sign and your speed. If you’re driving above the speed limit, it sends an alert to safety. The same goes for stop signs and stop lights. It sends an alert if the check engine is on. Truck in motion but not wearing seatbelt. We would have already them but the virus put it on hold for awhile.

 

Emptied in Phoenix then got deadheaded to Chino, CA to reload. Figured Id get sent to LA area to reload. Load going to Walmart in Harrisburg PA and Im due in Yakima WA for home time the 21 for my monthly VA doc appt the 22. Hoping they got a swap in mind or Im getting to home time late. Planner knew I needed to head NW. Is what it is I suppose.

 

You might check with the VA, here they are not doing face to face appointments until June

 

This particular monthly appt is always video chat kinda thing since this doc is in Seattle.

 

Saw it on Facebook, in one of the trucking groups, actually I think it said it did damage to the road itself.

Geez! I thought our cameras were bad! Shhhh, don’t give Abilene any ideas!

 

Was in Tiffin, IA last night and sitting in Hubbard, OH tonight... have you passed me up yet? Only had 7 hours yesterday and 9 hours today.

 

Got a tight run tomorrow... had to shut down tonight as I was bumping my 70... like the last four days... 5.5 hours to LUL tomorrow... requested a 34 in RVA so I could have a side panel looked at by the body shop, a tire that has a slow leak, and I the only heat in the front half of this truck is the greenhouse effect... lol ... plus I need to start my car, round out the tires, and run errands and restock my fridge.

they can’t just Deadhead me back so they give me a 6 hour run to drop n hook a trailer that is supposed to be ready mid afternoon but the PU time lol on the order says 11pm... lol

either way, 5.5 + 6 will be a tight fit
Hoping I make up some time in the air.

I’m betting no 34 happening, again... lol
