I guess you didn’t understand that the guards here don’t care anymore how people are parked and won’t do anything about it. I’m sure it really would have done me some good to go wake up the guys and tell them to move.

 

My point is, at least try telling the guards. If they do nothing, well, at least you tried.

I could see not caring about a truck on the street... maybe suggest painted lines in the parking area...

 

I really wish they would. It would definitely help maximize the few spots they have.

 

One good thing came out of this whole virus pandemic... we now have soap in the bathrooms!!!

Also, first time back in RVA I’m a few months... the window is no more... the only way to talk to someone is to call in... I know others probably knew that but like I said, it’s been a while since I touched RVA.

 

They finally for what they wanted. To close the dispatch window. They’d been trying to do that for years now. I doubt we will ever be able to walk back up to it again.

 

Yeah I dont get the whole blinds closed thing,but I guess it goes with the ole no communication narrative.

Taking a couple days off,deliver in Jacksonville Wednesday night.

 

You know how it was said that dispatch had masks and hand sanitizer for us? Well, I asked for masks yesterday. Wanna guess how many I was given?

@RebelChick sorry,the first time they announced it,I tried to get some they were out,this last time they gave me 2,and a bottle of sanitizer.

I know you can get the same brand,at alot of pilots now,5 in a pack for a little under 5 bucks,which isn't to bad considering its a truckstop.
