Nope. I've been in Chesapeake loading and heading to Berea KY. My favorite load (not) because they won't take you early. Currently at the Beckley service plaza and don't have to roll for 16 hours. Time for yesterday's Sons of Anarchy and dinner.

I think yoda pay week he did over 9,000 miles and counting for this month.. remember they can run teams so the truck never stops. Well if the student is ready to do it. I believe if the miles is not there they wouldnt do what they do bc it can be stressful

Pete, it depends on how well a trainee is doing. When David and George were with me we were doing 6500-7000 per week. One month David and I did 27,000 miles. I try to do 6000 per week, that's 12000 on a pay period which makes this training somewhat tolerable.

I'm wore out, spent, a babbling idiot and anything else you want to throw in there. I guess that's why I'm now running solo until after my vacation in November. On Monday I started the ball rolling to get me out of training, on Tuesday I threw the white flag up and screamed bloody murder. You see, I had Brandon as a stage one trainee, the load planners kept insisting they wanted to run us as a team even though we were less then super solo. I finally ha enough and requested they take me out of training due to safety reasons. The best person in my corner was Tim, my DM, the dude is great, period.

By the time I was empty they had it all worked out. I got back to Richmond and Brandon was out with another trainer. My argument was that if no one wanted to understand that my truck wasn't anywhere near a team truck, and they insisted on dispatching me as one, it was time to step away, strictly as a safety issue. And that's what was done. My reward? Picking up a BH load in Jarrat at 9pm last night and running all night to make my delivery in BH Groveport at 11am. I had to start my ten as soon as I got there, my 10 is up at 9:30 tonight, then another all nighter to BH in Brooklyn for 9am in the morning. Hometime is scheduled for Monday thru Wednesday, coming back out on Thursday, my wife and I are going down to Key West on the bike for a few days to unwind.

About 4 weeks ago. As JB said it really depends on the Student. I also had 2 1/2 weeks solo running nothing but the north east and upper Midwest

JB, your safety and sanity are more important then the money. Since the load planners can't follow the training program that's in black and white, IMO it's there loss.
