I suggested monthly pay, haven’t had any response.

Ya, I don’t care how I get paid... it’s just money flowing into a bucket and money out of a bucket... as long as you can budget your money it should not matter to “quality of life”.

My quality of life has nothing to do with any part of this job. My quality of life starts the minute I park this truck. They’re talking about changing the pay schedule to make us enjoy our life better? Please, some of us don’t need money budget help. My biggest beef right now about my quality of life? Having to cancel our 3 week trip to the Greek Isles in September.

I love the ones that take an advance on payday.

Never have taken one. It’s crazy to do that.

I don’t even have the advance option activated on my card.

These past few weeks have really been a stressful time. In the hospital from May 20th through June 1st. Sent home when we knew she shouldn’t have been. Back in the hospital June 4th and still here. Same severe issues. Plenty of testing. No answers. It doesn’t look like I’ll be back for at least 2 more weeks. My income is zero and while I do have savings, that isn’t what it used to be either. I went through most of my savings the last time she had 3 surgeries in a years time, and had just been able to build it back up to have a couple months cushion. My stress level is through the roof. My DM has called me nearly every day to see how things are going. Maybe he really cares. Maybe he just wants to know when the heck I’ll be back hauling freight. Who knows.

Oh I guess I do use the “advance option”
... but never thought about it much...

It’s more a convenience thing for walking around money... I grab $50 a week if/as needed... and it’s deducted off my check (No Fees) ... so I use it but more as a replacement to finding an ATM (Charges Fees) or grabbing a couple hundred dollars on Home Time or while at a Walmart.

But I’m using Apple Pay more and more so I might just keep a stash for emergency and go full contactless Tech!!!

With all the crazy rules because of CV19,
... they might just outlaw money... lol
