Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

I won't make it to WM til 0530 this morning. My 14 caught up to me waiting to get that empty yesterday.

 

We rolled out at 3am. Just took a short nap.

 

It's amazing how fast 10 days goes by when you're not working.

 

I was off pretty much the whole month of April. After a few weeks, I was getting antsy to get back.
After 2 days back, I could not, for the life of me, remember what I was antsy about.....

 

I’ve been off since May 20th. I can park my truck at my house so not worried about that. I am worried it might not start, though. I have had the batteries off, but it’s been a month. Getting ready to get back at it this week. My mother is out of the hospital and getting settled into the rehab for the next few weeks. She’s as weak as a newborn calf. For the rest of her life, she will not be able to have solid foods. Liquid/puréed foods only. Her digestive system has decided it has had enough and doesn’t want to work anymore. Bless her. This past month was harder on her than all the surgeries leading up to and having her foot amputated. Took a lot out of her. Took a lot out of me, too. Glad I don’t have my DOT physical coming up any time soon. I’m sure my BP is through the roof and don’t even get me started about stress eating!!

Imagine how I felt having 10 weeks off work.

 

That's way too many vegetables for my comfort...unless you guys are riding with a couple pet rabbits. Extra ham for me please.
