Best sounding engines ever made are the old 2 stroke Detroit Diesels.

 

Not if you had to drive them 10 hours a day

 

We are at the Richmond terminal. Truck has an air leak.

 

I retired 3 years ago and it gets boring. I might just end my retirement for awhile and get back out there!

 

I can't imagine retiring completely. At the very least be in a position to take the winter months off and do OTR maybe 5 or 6 months per year.

 

Sounds like a plan!

I think its hard for an OTR driver to retire. At least its been that way for me. It really does seem to get in your blood.

 

I tried local for nearly 2 years and didn't like it. In all honesty I would still be local if it wasn't for Covid, but after returning to OTR after being laid off I know where I belong.

Early last month my manager from Sysco called and asked if I wanted to come back as things were picking up. I told him thanks, but no thanks I'm sticking with my sleeper.
