    I can see it now.

    On the first day....

“I’ve done everything I’ve always wanted to do after I retired...... and it’s not even noon”.

I did like the old Detroits, but classic rattletrap music does deserve its due.

Headed home. Unloaded this morning in Scranton Pa, deadheaded to RVA and hooked a 2 stopper going to Miami and Homestead. I’ll be home tomorrow for a 10, then leave out 4am Monday.

Hill Phoenix to Missoula, MT. I was expecting another Abilene when the guy said there were two trucks today. Nope, got here and other truck was an owner operator with Mercer. Almost plowed a couple of huge bucks standing in the middle of the interstate this morning, thankfully they moved.

    MidWest_MacDaddy and Finfn1372 Thank this.

We picked up potato chips in MN, and hauled them to Colton. The bills say do not exceed 6000ft. I asked them if they had route advice to accomplish this, negative. Called Abilene, got a solid I don't know (weekend.)

Decided to take the route Abilene payed us for. Avoiding the really big mountains. The chips still saw 7500ft. We dropped them in the Colton yard to be delivered later...
