How do you check your oil if you don’t open the hood?

These trucks are loaded with the latest, greatest bells and whistles. They’ve made these trucks for dummies. I just wait until the red triangle pops up, the buzzer screaming, the shutdown to occur then I read the message. Low on oil, low on coolant, low on washer fluid, then I’ll get out and check the levels and add accordingly. I even had the check light come on Saturday telling me there was an issue with my right rear speaker in my sleeper. That was an easy fix, I just switched over to a 2 channel speaker system.

What’s a new truck? :D Have not ever gotten a truck that didn’t have someone else’s butt print on the seat. Heck, the seat in my Mack was so bad, I had to have them replace it. And they did. With a cheap as all get out seat that gives me a headache every day. Speaking of old Oscar, put him in the shop AGAIN last Wednesday because the AC fan went out (and by golly I NEED my AC!). Guess what they found? The air leak (one of the air bags) that I had written up the past 3x I put it in the shop (and they never fixed), and a bad sensor. Still waiting on parts. So, at home because I can’t stand a KW and I refuse to drive a nasty stinking day cab (which BTW, the one he wanted me to drive is also now in the shop-go figure). It’s all good.

Not like you can't leave the lot and park right there on the street.

Just make sure you park downwind so you don't dirty up their airspace or whatever their problem is.

Wouldn’t want to contaminate any of that high dollar Chinese imported flooring that makes the inside of our trailers smell like formaldehyde.
