Sitting in Wytheville waiting on a trailer to show up so I can deliver tomorrow in Havre de Grace. Am I the only one that makes an effort to get to a repower? This load was suppose to be here at 11am. It's only 375 miles from here to delivery, but I really don't want to leave at midnight. I called into dispatch to get an eta about this driver, they said he's about 4 hours out. I got his phone number and called him but no answer. Oh well, the wait continues.

I left Warrenton Mo at 4am yesterday with 691 miles to go. I had just enough time on my recap to make it to the wytheville yard. I was doing absolutely wonderful until I hit construction about 20 miles from the yard. I had no choice but to take a violation 8 miles from the yard. Oh well, this being only my second one in 18 months is not too bad. Some people can't go a week without getting one, 2 in 18 months just proves to the world I'm human, and believe me, I didn't loose one ounce of sleep worrying about it.

I got got the best sleep in the last 6 months last night. Truck was off, parked in the back section of the car parking lot at the J, woke up took a shower, had breakfast then PC'd over to get my truck washed. I just finished cleaning and dusting the inside. I haven't been to the Richmond yard on a Monday during regular business hours and have heard from a couple of friends that drive here, that the owner of the company has been doing spot checks on HIS equipment. Wanna make sure I get an attaboy.

Mom's still in the hospital. There's an issue with her oxygen levels and her lung has not returned to full inflation. Plus she has a bit of pneumonia in it. She's been ready to go since Sunday. But she's going to need a lot of extra assistance for the next month or so. Don't know how I'm going to manage that. I'm just so tired from all I've had to do and deal with these past few days. And the staff coming in every couple hours. Had to get a bit forceful with a lab tech at 4 am. She blew yet another vein trying to get blood. When my mother asked her to stop because it hurt, she kept right on. Should've seen the look on her face when I told her to stop or I would come over there and make her stop. Needless to say, no more blood will be drawn. Her veins just won't handle it.

Am worried about my truck sitting at ellenwood with all my stuff in it. If it was in Richmond, I wouldn't be worried (or as worried). Last I talked to Walter, he told me that it wouldn't be brought up to Richmond unless they could find a team with hours who swing thru and get it. And I need it fixed while I'm out so whenever I get back I can roll. Oh well, it'll work out, I guess.

Y'all be safe and hopefully I'll be back soon.

That would be nice, but it seems that most companies want you rolling right away. At least that has been my experience.
