Yeah. It’s pretty bad when your boss says he thinks he’s getting ready to lose a lot of drivers over this. So they know. They just don’t care. Y’all be prepared to deliver all those loads you currently get to drop in the RVA yard. I’ve talked to 3 so far who say they’re out.

Parked at Love's in Fort Pierce FL and there is construction on the road in front and the lanes are shifted. I accidentally drove down the wrong side of the road thinking it was a turning lane into Love's....

Last day of my week off. Back in the truck tomorrow.

    DM calls me.

"Hey, you're coming back tomorrow, right?"
    "Yeah man."
"You want a load to Florida that delivers on Monday?"
"I would rather not come back from a week off and have my first assignment be a load that has a 34 built into it that I clearly don't need."
"Oh, uh, yeah, I guess not. I'll call you back later."

    I mean, if I gotta, I gotta, and I won't #####. I don't refuse loads.

But if I don't gotta? I'd rather not.

So now I got a Hill-Phoenix load going to Thousand Oaks, CA that delivers on Tuesday.

At this rate I'll end 2020 with double my usual annual trips out west.

Testing my trainee out tomorrow. Then it’s off to Glendale Az, Dixon Ca and final in San Francisco Ca. Alone, no roommate, no sharing of 40 sq ft of space, and no fighting over the remote for the satellite radio. Time to get lost for 3300 miles.

Satellite radios have remotes now?. For a second I thought maybe I should get one, then I remembered that I only listen to 2 channels on there and Yacht Rock and Escape really aren't worth $10 a month.

I went to use it the other morning, about 4 am, he’s sound asleep, I have the speakers set to 2 channel, I put on my 60’s on 6 and boom, he changed the preset to some head banging rap. Scared me half to death. Now I have the satellite app in my phone and that’s how we listen to it.

So, I am hired to test out another trainers trainee, that trainees trainer is testing my trainee out. All is good, I spent and hour plus in the hot sun sweating my nuts off in the hot parking lot, then just se soon as I get back to the office, I get called down to safety. It’s off to Concentra for a random. All goes well with that, I have no issue aiming or filling. I have finally left RVA heading to Phoenix, San Francisco and Corning California. Alone.

Load of oil from ADM here in Valdosta and they make you wash your hands before approaching the guard shack window. Got a portable hand washing station in front of the guard shack, lol!
