I’ve parked at the Mickey D’s as well. How’d you like the place to back into? Do you know how many Abilene trucks have crashed and burned there? Between knocking down both sides of the fence, the gate, hitting a truck or two, and not to mention the dudes grass across the street. I’m pretty sure Abilene has repaired and replaced most of the customers belongings over the years.

Got deadheaded from Reno to San Diego to load this morning. I’ll be dropping this load at WM Saturday about 1900. When I arrive I’ll have 30 minutes left on my 70. So, in order to go home for my hometime, I’ll be doing a reset just so I can go home. Hometime is scheduled for Tuesday until the following Monday, I knew this was going to work out this way. I ran 4400 miles last week, and this week will be 4450.

He'd been unloading me for about 45 minutes when he came out and asked for the paperwork. Said I'd be ready to roll in 20 minutes. That seemed like a long time to do paperwork, but I've had Americold in Belvidere take 4 hours, so whatever. Then he walked into the building across the way to chat with some guy over there. So I pulled out of the dock with the intention of shutting my doors and sliding my tandems and waiting for the paperwork.
Turns out he wasn't finished unloading the trailer. Oops.MACK E-6, Barn Door Bill, JohnBoy and 1 other person Thank this. -

Back on the road. New Castle BH messed up our load. Over gross weight, and 2k too heavy in the rear.
They took nearly 2k off, still not legal, but close. About a foot over CA bridge law.
Dinner time. These were grilled on a real fire at home. I undercook them quite a bit. Then we heat them in the microwave and they remain juicy.
