Mine did. I called safety and all I got was I don’t know.

So under the new rules, On Duty doesn’t start your 8? So then you get a full 8 before a required 30 non driving event? Interesting. Not that one is saving all that much but ya, “improvements”... lol

Also looks like being off-duty stops your 8-hour clock. I spent 20 minutes off-duty this morning getting unloaded and my 8-hour clock didn't change.

EDIT: To put it another way, it looks like your 8-hour clock only ticks down when you're actually driving. Still resets after 30 minutes though. Need to test it further to see if it ticks down during a yard move.

We've got at least two new billboards up for Abilene. One on southbound I-95, right-hand side, right before the exit to King's Dominion, advertising for drivers. Other one on northbound I-95, left-hand side, right before the exit to our yard, giving us the "Thank you for all you do, Truckers!" bit.

The money for the raise went in to paying for the signs.

That is what we were thinking. Waste of funds...

After 4 months back here at Abilene, we are making considerably less than before. We put in our notice, and are moving on to hopefully greener pastures.

That’s what I’m currently doing also. It’s been pretty good money. My route is dedicated so it’s very consistent regarding pay and mileage.
