Do they have the front bumpers that scrape speed bumps?

No. I guess they felt it would be something else to tear up.

Today's trailer. I am perplexed as to how this even happens.

    IMG_20201222_095157.jpg

Called Safety about it and sent in a trailer condition report. They responded by printing out a brand new copy of the trailer registration and telling me that I was legal to roll.

I'm not 100% certain I buy it, but at least I have plausible deniability if I get pulled over.

Nope. It’s up to the officer. Most will let you go, but there’s that select few that will want to write you up and tell you to work it out with the judge. On another note, Hewlett-Packard will not let you drop any trailer with a missing or partial plate at any of their shipping facilities. That I’ve experienced first hand.

Just got home. Did my 2 drops that took me all of 45 minutes total, then drove to my parking spot 5 miles from my last stop. Home until the 5th.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone! Enjoy yourselves. Those of you working, thank you. Be safe, and we’ll talk next year.

Last pay check of 2020 hit this morning. Rather impressive for a lazy driver who puts more effort in time off than working. I left the house December 4th after 2 weeks home, ran for 2 weeks and one day, ran 8412 miles, cashed in my last week of vacation, got my November mileage/safety bonus, year end mileage bonus, and my mileage pay. My earning for the month of December and being home for 2.5 weeks came to $7285. Great way to end the year.
