Great news John for you and your wife.
I haven't been up to par for the last few days, so I decided I would march down to Kroger, so yesterday I had the antibody test, today I am going to CVS to have the big test. The antibody test came back negative. Hopeful the Covid test will come back the same.
The antibody test was $25 and takes 15 minutes for the result test to come back. I am thinking that Medicare pay for the Covid test, we will see.

Thank you. Our insurance paid for it. We didn’t even have a co-pay. Without insurance it was $199 each. Whatever I had the whole day before New Year’s Eve, which included many of the symptoms, is completely gone. The scary part was the fever. It climbed the whole day to as high as 102.8. Who knows what I had. But getting ready to leave out, I wanted to deal with it home and not on the road. We had one driver fight it after leaving the house and wound up being extricated from his truck at the yard by paramedics and spent a week in the hospital in Richmond 600 miles from home.MidWest_MacDaddy, Flatbedder 1966, RebelChick and 2 others Thank this.

No way that I would even consider leaving home sick, especially running and staying out like y'all do. When I am sick, I want to be in my own bed with the wife waiting on me LOL.
I am still working. Little part time job hauling pallets. I say part time, it started Tue, Wed and Thur. but it has turned into a 5 day a week job. don't pay too much but it gives me something to do @ 85 year old. Every thing is drop and hook Super people to work for, equipment isn't anything to brag about. Tractors are pretty good but trailers, well that is another story.
I miss running as I once did, but "mother nature" had something to say about that.JoeyJunk, kemosabi49, gntorres61 and 4 others Thank this. -
Sounds more like 85 years young! I hope I make it to 85.kemosabi49, JohnBoy and Lonesome Thank this.

Still in good health. Not on any medication. Blood pressure 117/73. Hearing is going down hill. Got a DOT physical coming up in April, probably will fail it because of my hearing. I ain't getting hearing aids to keep a truck driving job, no way! Doctor told me last time, "next time you come, you better have hearing aides". Well I ain't got them.jarhead0311, JohnBoy, dwells40 and 2 others Thank this.

Feeling great today. In fact, I’m feeling so good that I called in and told my DM I needed 2 more days off. I’ll be leaving Wednesday, like 2 weeks off wasn’t quite enough.
