Years ago when I drove for a company out of Roanoke (Troutdale), Va. I got pulled for randoms constantly. Finally I asked the safety girl why I kept getting selected for randoms, she said in a whisper “because we know your clean.” WOW!

 

That sounds like me when I worked for Knight.

IKR!!! I even had to do a hair follicle to come back to work this time along with a urine and complete physical. At least our doctor didn’t scalp me like some have done in the past. Last drug test was 6 months ago, which coincides with my last physical.
And now that I’m out here, I’m wondering just what in the hell I was thinking. LUL at 5:30 am this morning in Greenville SC, LLD in Eatonton GA at 13:30, drop at ATL drop yard, grab mty reefer and LLD in McDonough GA supposedly at 16:30, but y’all know how Lineage is. I don’t even have a door yet. My 2nd day out and it’s looking like a very long one. Plus a couple go rounds with dispatch already and again, it’s only day 2.
So, I’ll say it again, what in the hell was I thinking?!?!?!?!?!?!

 

If I had a dollar for every time I made that remark, I could probably be eating ribeye steaks instead of Pinto beans tonight.

 

Had my first random since July... haven’t heard anything back... I sure hope I pass...

 

That makes it no longer “RANDOM”.

 

Coming out of the Loves in Bidwell, OH and just watched and listened to a beater of a truck backing into a space, straight as you like, pulling up, then backing in again. He repeated this process quite unnecessarily several times. Why? I'm guessing it has to do with the fact that every time his back-up lights came on so did a car alarm.

If in the future any of you read an article about someone beating the piss out of this guy, send it my way. I'd like to contribute to the accused's legal defense fund.

 

Well, it was random within the clean driver subset of total drivers... lol
