And trust me, from experience, after going through food poisoning while on the road, you spend the rest of your life carefully watching what you eat while on the road.

Absolutely. Except it’s better while at home. Not to far from a bathroom.

See, one day ALL food will be roller food. And I will have built up my resistance and will be able to function normally, while the rest of you suckers will be struggling with a constant case of the Tennessee Quickstep.

Is there a big difference in food poisoning and the stomach flu? No idea really. I think the latter is more of a virus. But, ended up in this little tiny ER last night. I suppose I was the talk of the truck stop for all of 5 minutes when the ambulance came, but I was so sick I could care less. I called our insurance nurse line and since I couldn’t even keep water down, she called 911. Spent 6 hours in the ER and got driven back to my truck by a sheriff’s deputy. No taxis, Uber or Lyft in this little place. Got a script for Reglan, but no pharmacy to get it filled at around here. I feel about 50% better. Hopefully, I can make it back to RVA today. They never did get someone to repower this load, so guess they’ll be paying a “big fine” according to the load assignment. I’m pretty sure what I was given for nausea is ok (zofran), but will call safety this morning before trying to head out. The only other thing I got was IV fluids.

And, from now on, unless I fix my food myself, it won’t be eaten by me.

I’m a retired nurse. Zofran can make you drowsy so be very careful driving after taking it especially with the other issues you’ve had.

if your going to the DC in Corrine, I can assure you the broker is full of it. We go in there on a regular basis, and it’s just like any other wal mart dc.
