The one in Savannah is to take care of all the freight we have going in and out of Florida and the 95 corridor between Richmond and Florida. The one in Anderson SC will do the same for the 85 corridor between Richmond and Atlanta. Apparently from what I’ve heard the southeast has grown so much they need to split it up to take pressure off Victor.

My last 2 trips out there, including the one I’m on now coming back to Richmond, has had me preplanned the day before I was empty. Both times I loaded at Anthony in Sylmar with the glass and door frames going back to Hill. It use to be a drop and hook, now it’s a live load and both times have afforded me the pleasure of getting detention pay. FYI, if you do get that load, you’ll be done right at the beginning of the afternoon rush hour. What I do instead of leaving the north side of Los Angeles and driving into, through and out of the city of Angeles is go north on Hwy 14 through Palmdale/Lancaster, up to Mojave and pick up 58 to Barstow. It’s 24 miles farther, but zero stress. Nice easy drive with very little traffic that time of day.

Well, made to Rawlins from Evanston here in WY then had to shut down again due to dangerous winds from Elk Mountain to Cheyenne. West bound in completely shutdown due to many stalled trucks due to slick roads. Maybe tomorrow Ill get out of WY, lol! Only been stuck in WY since Thursday......

Very True, and that is exactly why Im sitting and not even attempting anything with this 10k lb load. Too many idiots as well on the road that will attempt things and ruin it for everyone else.

Sitting here at the mothership. Got in last night. Truck is in for a PM, new steer tires, a software update, and yes, a new windshield. Boy I’m hard on windshields.

Nothing like a nice new, clean, clear windshield. And new rubber on the steers.
