Gatorade Wytheville a complete fustercluck today. Took me almost an hour just to get through the gate. Probably gonna be an hour and a half total to get in and out.

1/10 stars. Would not recommend.

That's with my tandems slid all the way to the rear. Does not look like I will be getting back to the yard in time for my hometime starting tomorrow.

 

Swapped my FL BH load with an O/O for a load to Family Dollar in Mooreshead Ky yesterday then they booked me a load of Charcoal going to Springfield,OR to get me up to WA for my hometime. Get to family dollar this morning and it was a nightmare to maneuver in with trailers jammed everywhere and drivers parked waiting for a dock door. Fortunately found an easy slot to drop my trailer in. The only empty dry van was buried behind two trailers....plenty of reefers but needed a dry van. Had to wait almost two hours for a yard jockey to move stuff. Didn't make it to the charcoal plant needless to say cuz they would be closed by the time I got there. Going to try and get loaded in the morning. Planner didn't say anything to the broker cuz I guess it was the only load going to PNW in the area. Didn't want the broker to take the load off us. Hopefully tomorrow Ill be on my way to Oregon....

 

Parked in Kenly,heading home in the morning.Wont be back till the 5th.

This trip to Oregon has been a bust so far between sitting in Sydney,NE for over 34 hours due to high winds in Wyoming and finding I84 closed due to an accident so I had to go to SLC then up 15 to 84. Was supposed to be in Springfield Or yesterday but won't make it til Thursday now. Would have made it tomorrow if 84 hadn't been shutdown. Betting someone rolled over going through the 55 mph curves too fast, always get my doors blown off through there by other trucks. I am grossing 76,000 lbs but still didn't want to chance Wyoming with 70 mph gusts. At least will still make my Doc appt on time though during home time this weekend. Thankfully nobody screaming at me for being this late even though not my fault.
