Word on the street is that my truck will be ready this afternoon sometime, so I should be back on the road tomorrow.

Anybody ever been to Harris Flooring in Johnson City?

 

Was nice few days off, bounce down to Portland from Yakima for a load of shingles to the LA area. Coming up sexton pass this morning in Oregon and was slow going since Im grossing at 76k and a few trucks in front of me too, heartland express comes up behind me and can tell he is light but he couldn't get over to pass on the left due to long line of cars so the idiot decides to try and pass all of us by driving up the skinny shoulder....truck in front of me moved over a bit so heartland couldn't pass us all and got stuck on the shoulder next to me the whole way up. He didn't have a radio but could see he was all angry, lol! I know it sucks getting stuck when you are light but I never ever thought about trying to drive up a shoulder to pass everyone, kind of dangerous....he finally got back behind me the other side of the hill and somebody let him out to the left.

 

Seriously? Dang Stupid to the bone... lol

 

Turns out, word on the street was wrong. Truck is still in the shop, and despite my best efforts I am now flying a loaner for the foreseeable future.
