You should definitely give them a call. You can have a small dog. You can bank time off and there are trainers that don't smoke.

Let it go already, you went on to greener pastures. If you did your job correctly here, he wouldn't have had to do his job in firing you. With the way these trucking companies are sued left and right, they need to protect themselves in case you go out and kill someone or yourself, from a lawsuit. Abilene was only looking out for themselves, hence the not rehirerable. It shows the lawyer in case of a lawsuit exactly where they stand on an ex-employee. Trust me, if you do the same bang up job at Trans Am that you did at Abilene, they would put the same information on your DAC report.

These companies only care about one thing, liability, they need to protect themselves in case it should come back and bite them in the arse.

And the gov't regulations are only making it worse. They are pressing the ins companies to make it a higher mandatory liability rate. The megas are also having a hand in this as they used the elogs to push out independents and they now raising the insurance rates will make it not affordable for some small companies. We had a few accident claims last year and the insurance company demanded we cut the trucks back to 68.

Pet policy is dogs under 25 pds with a $500 deposit taken out over 5 checks. I swap back and forth between 2 dogs so I say that, even though I know someone that rides with a monkey (and not as in a spouse or trainee haha). Time off can be banked but they are pretty lenient on that aspect. Coming out of school you would need to be with a trainer or your husband would need to put in some time and then possibly become a one time trainer. Call Sally or Shawn and talk it over with them. We are short on teams, hence Bman and me running out west as solos.

George here is the reality. You didn't listen to your trainers and you didn't pay attention. You tore up a bunch of equipment amd you are unhappy because Scott didn't lie about it on your DAC. No company, correction no employer, is going to rehire someone they terminated for tearing up company property. The best thing to do is realize we all make mistakes and there are consequences for them. Deal with it, move on with your life, and realize that after 3 years or so of not tearing anything up, and being able to perform all maneuvers (parking, docking, blind siding and riverside backing) as well as holding a steering wheel without causing damage, somebody will bring you on that will suit you the way Abilene suits us. Good luck. Im sure at some point things will fall into place for you.
