And the circus continues. I still, after 7 weeks, have no DM.

Lonesome, dwells40 and Finfn1372 Thank this.

Played a mean guitar for the Sex Pistols back in the day. Wondered what he was up to these days. I confess that I would have never suspected he'd take up a new career in trucking.

Out of RVA? He’s my (I think, cause I don’t remember his last name) DM. Decent guy-so far.

Had a decent couple of weeks, even with windy conditions for quite a bit of the trip. Thanks to JB for the tip on 97 down. I wouldn’t want to do the part from Wenatchee down to I-90 again, but the rest was nice. 2 stop Hill load to WA state. DH down to Santa Fe Springs CA. Load from there to W. Memphis yard. And that’s where the fun began.

So I get up early this morning to get the load I had on into the yard before the traffic got too bad at the now closed I-40 split. Had to stop 120 miles short Tuesday- no more time.

Waited about an hour for dispatch. Now, I only have 18 hours on my 70 and supposed to be home Thursday night. What do I get? Supposedly all they had was a live load at Kellogg in Jackson TN for 5:30 pm going to front royal. What time did I get out of there? Midnight. Not getting home on time this time. I could’ve just stayed on the load I had for Villa Rica if I wasn’t going to make it home. Instead, I drop this at Wytheville tomorrow (whenever I get there, because at this point I’m tired AND can’t sleep) and pick up a heavy as #### Gatorade (my absolute favorite - NOT!) load to RVA.

I ran up I-95 a few days ago.
Beeped and waved as I rolled through RVA
