That's the other reason I don't do the Byhalia -> Jacksonville trip in one shift. Feels like they have a greater sense of urgency to get me a load when the clock is ticking.

Currently sitting on the side of the road on I-94. Got a refrigerated pickup in 45 minutes. Reefer has begun throwing alarms.

Called Breakdown. Gave them the alarm codes. Was told "You can run with those. Those aren't critical alarms. You'll just have to monitor the temperature more closely."

I explained that the shipper isn't going to load thousands of dollars of product into a reefer they can't trust to work.

Currently on hold while the braniacs on the other end debate this issue.

42 years driving OTR and I have my first steer tire blow out. I-40 west right before the exit 239 for Forrest City/Boars Head.
71mph and a nice smooth landing. Still had to change my drawers though. 2FFB786D-6607-4100-98CC-FF31CCD58343.jpeg BD3883E4-7A51-4590-8266-4D13612ACA75.jpeg

We're back at the pasta spot.

Now tell me if this isn't a coincidence, sat in Jacksonville, till 1130,than they send this picking up in Columbia at 500,280 miles away.

I'm sure they couldn't find anybody that wanted to come here lol.
