Got a new cord and it's working fine now. Whew! I mean, hey, I just got the old girl back from the shop. Injectors replaced, PM done, front end maybe aligned, fridge heck no. Did that myself. Geez, ask them to blow it out and wipe the crap off and get into an argument with them. Then they trashed my carpet and my brand new memory foam mattress. Grease everywhere. Kinda cheesed off about that. The floor I can clean, but not the memory foam. Anyway...

Got a decent load from the yard to Moss Bluff LA. 3 days to do 1200 miles. Hahaha. At least it got me away from there and I have time to restock my now sparkling fridge. It's a new Wal-Mart market right next to a Market Basket. How convenient. (Smirking) At least the folks at the Market Basket are allowing me to park overnight. Wonder how many more of our trucks will be showing up? I'm looking at the wonderful closed gate for the night and since my qualcomm said 11 am and the paperwork says 8 am, I know there's at least 4 more coming. Should be interesting. Not sure they're going to be ready for us.

 

Well, scratch the parking. Just got told to leave since I'm delivering to the Wal-Mart. Geez.

 

Anybody know where I can get a passenger side windshield curtain for the Volvo? Mine was sitting on the passenger seat with all the things that go in the track broken off lol.

 

You can ask the guy at the body shop at the yard if he has an extra or buy one from any truck stop.

Ok, we've all been on the "there are 10 HP trucks scheduled" loads where the bills say 8 am and on the qualcomm the delivery times are staggered, right? My question is, how many of us actually pay attention to that and how many go on in as it is first come first unloaded? I have not ever not gone on in. Sometimes I'm first, sometimes last. No one has ever thrown a fit about it, until today. This other female driver about had a cow because her "appt" was 8 am. She's fairly new and I explained how it's been done the other times but she didn't want to hear that. I know the company she came from probably doesn't have deliveries like this, so I overlooked it. She even called her FM who called my FM and I was told stick to the appt time on the qualcomm from now on. I'm such a trouble maker!!

 

load delivers tonight. then back to the house until morning. Deadhead to the yard tomorrow. Still have to pack, get my food, attend parent teacher conference at the school, and its my wife's birthday. Definitely not getting everything done. Gotta be in Allentown by 8.

 

More like I will have to pack for him. Food maybe he will have meatloaf made for him

 

RC she will get hers. Eventually she will figure out not to start stuff with other Abilene drivers, when she's trying to be be part of the group and no one gives her the time of day. she obviously doesn't understand what being part of a team is like.
