Dunno what's going on over at HQ, but I got two pre-loads. Currently hauling a reefer to Sysco in Front Royal. Then I got a pre-load to pick up a load there and deliver it in Connecticut tomorrow morning. Then I got another pre-load after that to pick up something in Jersey and bring it back to the yard.
NE load planner keeping me busy. Also my third trip to Connecticut/Massachusetts in the past week. Gonna start asking for weekends off at this rate.Sustanon, Lonesome, jarhead0311 and 2 others Thank this. -
Schenectady NY, cuz apparently all there is are NY loads, lol! Leave out 0200 hoping to beat DC traffic. Going to take me a while to get used to this freight shaker, transmission not as smooth as the Volvo's in my opinion, got push the accelerator a bit harder to move. Engine brake is stronger than Volvo's though.
Sustanon, MidWest_MacDaddy and Finfn1372 Thank this. -
Yeah everytime I get to near my destination,my dm calls with 'options',and they almost always suck.
Sustanon, Lonesome, MidWest_MacDaddy and 1 other person Thank this. -

I hate the automatic transmission on this Freightliner, I think they disabled the creep mode or didn't get that option installed.....This US Salt place is quite interesting here in Watkins Glen, NY, wonder how many trucks have ended up in the lake while trying to back into the docks....
Sustanon, Lonesome, MidWest_MacDaddy and 1 other person Thank this. -
Don’t add to that stat… loljarhead0311 Thanks this.

My son lives in Corning, so I’ve been by that place, thankfully in my car. Doesn’t look truck friendly at all!!Last edited: Nov 13, 2021
MidWest_MacDaddy and jarhead0311 Thank this. -
It’s definitely tight in some spots back there, and always heavy coming out of that shipper.MidWest_MacDaddy, jarhead0311, Lonesome and 1 other person Thank this.

The ones I've driven, lightly press the throttle to get it moving and get off of it.....goes into Creep Mode automatically unless you hit the throttle or brake which kicks it out.Sustanon, jarhead0311, dwells40 and 1 other person Thank this.
