It means he’s finally sick of the micromanage bs he’s been dealing with at Abilene and ready to move on. It happens to all of us at some point. OTR trucking was fun back in the good days but too much of a grind now.

It means I have done what would be called my due diligence and weighed all my options and secured another place of employment. One thing I have seen here, no one gives a rats ### about a driver. Their only concern is moving freight, I get it, but unfortunately for the folks in Phoenix and Richmond, I’m very capable of saying enough is enough and taking my happy ### someplace else. @BM 58 really hit the nail on the head. I will make my final decision over Christmas and New Years while I take my last weeks vacation.

The company, through their very obvious actions have shown me nothing the last 7 months. My only concern is 3 things, and all 3 things are monetary issues. 1, you need to be employed on November 30th in order to collect the yearly mileage bonus, 2, you must be employed on December 31st to collect your yearly company match on the 401K and 3, I am owed one more week of vacation. All totaled, that comes to $6000. I won’t give that up for anything.

Oh, I see now. Was it your trailer they hit? That’s how you got the photo before they left the scene?

    :)
