E70AB46A-74AD-40DB-9CED-9A8B3558CD32.jpeg The crapliner I was assigned that I’m convinced is the mark of Freightliner, is fixed. If anyone is in need of a spotless 60,000 mile piece of crap, it’s waiting at the Richmond yard. I’m keeping this ‘21 Volvo that makes my job much more bearable.

If you ever want to get on a roller coaster and go from loving your job after 42 years, to despising every waking moment of it, just get a Freightliner.

Early in my 40+ year career I run 6K miles a week running team in a single axle cab over Peterbilt. Did that 8 years for a bread company. DFW to Ft Walton Beach back and forth fun times. Never again.. I feel your pain JB. Been in a Turdliner myself for 7 years.

In a Western Star right now. It’s built on the same line as a Cascadia. :(

I know. I feel for you. Does the Western Star have the same wonderful sticker on the drivers window proclaiming its “proudly assembled in NC”?

    Bumper and Lonesome Thank this.

I don’t think so. My truck also only has a 48” sleeper. Glad I’m normally home every night.

Made it up to Reno area and lucked out with bare roads all the way up. Only got stuck behind a trio of oversize loads but thankfully they pulled over in Tonopah. So glad this 22' Volvo was available cuz it made the ride so much better. Team that was in it quit, Im assuming a team had it being it had almost 71,000 miles on it and PM was done in Oct. on it. Only thing wrong is the fridge doesn't work but supposed to route me back to WM shop to fix or replace it. Crack in the bumper too but otherwise in good shape.

Gotta love thinking in operations here....wanted me to deadhead 500 miles from Reno to Idaho to rescue the BH Oregon two stopper from a driver sitting there at the Loves at exit 141 off 84. As of now the chain are still up east of here on the big hills and Im not chaining up with an empty trailer, been there and tried that once and didn't work out....then they ask if if I can bobtail up there, hahaha, that's even worse! I can't believe they were serious.....
