It's going to Zanesville, OH, so as long as they've got the trailer ready by 10pm, it can still get to the receiver on time.

However, it's no longer my concern. I am now on a load to Rome, NY. Good luck and God bless to whoever winds up with that Zanesville load.

 

Taking a rest and sent a hill phoenix that's not ready.Don't worry it's not that Ohio load lol.

Hometime this weekend,it's been a good month.

 

Get up 0300 and shower and fuel and hit the rd at Loves west of Effingham, Ill. Everything clear and roads good until I get to Ohio and the further east towards Columbus I get the worse it gets and Im down to 35 mph. Cars in the median and ditch and haji jack knifed in the median and down on 270 a container into the ditch and trees.....get a call asking if Ill pick up a BH load that is one of AKJ's loads and do a 10 and deliver into Chattanooga tomorrow morning.....I said Im prob not going to make it by 0800 appt time the way the weather was at the moment plus thinking the roads will be iced tonight. The planner takes it as Im refusing the load and runs to AKJ and throws me under the bus so he gets involved and being out of the WM yard Nan is my terminal manager so she explains to the big cheese I didn't refuse the load, I just can't guarantee on time delivery due to weather concerns. He is ok with that apparently. Finally dropped my Bay Valley foods load from Reno in Groveport and got the BH load and parked. Going to be fun ride tonight. Hate when my words get twisted. Surprised I got my next load already, pick up at Smithfield in Cummings Ga and drop on the yard. Betting Im getting a Hill Phoenix after since that seems to be the theme for now.....

 

I learned last week your only as good as your last load with this company.

 

So let me understand this. HP is screaming their loads aren't being delivered in a timely manner, but when you go to get one, to deliver it in a timely manner, it ain't ready. Is that it?

To be fair, the trailers they were upset about were already loaded.

These are different trailers. Presumably they'll be slightly more understanding if these are late.

But again, not my problem.
