I actually managed to pick up a load out west. Got a trailer full of metal bits for a cabinet factory in Phoenix. Picked it up off the yard in Wytheville. Only 3 days to Phoenix if I push it, but dispatch says they don't take deliveries on the weekend. FCFS come Monday, though. Will give me a chance to take a break in Albuquerque and see my dad.

I knew I should’ve made a left turn at Albuquerque.

Got to Byhalia to get my Reno load and a marker light not working.....dragged it back to the yard and it took an hour to fix being the wiring was burned up. Ran into the snowstorm west of Little Rock and thankfully the roads were bare and wet due to pretreatment, saw them pretreating on my way to Volvo this morning, figured they did it whole way across.

Sounds like you're right behind me. Or maybe somewhere in front of me. Were you stopped at the Workman's in Ozark this morning? I hit there around 9:00am local to grab some breakfast, saw two other Abilene trucks there.

I spent the night at JohnBoy's favorite truck stop, the West Memphis Petro. Sleep was peaceful and uneventful, in direct contrast to the reputation the place has. Hit the road around 5:00am local, stopped at Workman's for breakfast, stopped at the OKC Petro for fuel and a shower, and am currently pitched up at the Punjabi truck stop in Sayre. Will have a short day tomorrow before stopping at the Albuquerque TA and spending a few hours with the Old Man. Then Little America in Flagstaff on Sunday for a 6:00am local delivery in Phoenix on Monday.

I’m at Area 51 taking my 10. In my truck, alone, no visitors. I’ll be ending my day tomorrow at Lisa’s in Moriarty NM.

Naw, didn't start my day til 0800 being the load isn't due til Wed anyway or Tuesday after 1400 actually too. Figured I would wait til daylight with the snow coming east as well. Volvo is closed from 0100-0700 anyway too.
