In completely unrelated news, I discovered today that I get paid more per year than 75% of the professional bowlers in the PBA.

On the other hand, their job involves driving around the country and bowling all day long. Might be worth a cut in pay.

Try the professional fishing circuit. You get to bait a hook all day on the shore.

Finished up my reset in Reno 0300 this morning and got sent to Oroville, Ca to get loaded with a Knight Load of mulch. Was interesting being I had to back up to a large machine with a chute that shot the mulch into the trailer and had a person walk me forward every so often to fill the trailer up with the mulch. Oughta be fun to sweep out tomorrow morning.....

We get free (well, Abilene still pays for it, but it's no cost to the driver) trailer washouts at Blue Beacon. I have used them for a very similar purpose before. Had a crapload of paper scraps in the trailer from a recycling delivery. Enough to fill a couple of big trash cans at least. Decided to let it be Blue Beacon's problem.

Found out that day that Blue Beacon charges extra if the trailer washout takes longer than 15 minutes. They came in under the wire, though, and no extra charges accrued.

34A0D38B-486F-4169-852A-0B48EB3CD3B9.png Anyone going to take advantage of the latest greatest announcement pertaining to the college tuition? I thought long and hard about it (not). I graduated June of ‘78 with a degree in business. At 66, I’m done learning anything in a classroom setting. The announcement would have peaked my interest if it went something like this,

“we are excited to announce that because of all your hard work, and that we’ve finished the previous quarter with a net profit of $200 million dollars, we’d like to share the wealth with our drivers in the tune of a .05 CPM raise. Hopefully, that will shut Johnboy up.”

    One can only dream.

I’m quite sure the Board of Directors in Phoenix are tickled pink.

I didn't think they washed out dry vans with the wood flooring and all. Interesting to know, thanks.

Just don't take it to pick up a shipment of flour afterwards until it dries.
