Volvo to Jacksonville for tommorrow,deadheaded from St Louis.

Got a pm scheduled for Friday,than it's off for 3 days.

 

On my way to Byhalia to pick up my Reno load I get down to the traffic light on 72 by the Exxon and quite a few cop cars on the west bound side blocking the right lane and partially sticking out in the left with a sheet covering a body between two of the cruisers. Turns out some woman jumped out in fromt of a car and committed suicide.

 

Man, that's a messed up way to go. You wanna check out, fly solo. Don't involve other people against their will.

 

Hate to hear when people commit suicide.

Dropped my jacksonville load,now I'm bobtailing toward Tampa,to pu a reefer trailer to bring back to Savannah.

After that I pu a load off of Savannah,dropping in Wytheville,than I'll try to get something back to Richmond,have a pm for Friday than hometime.

 

My new throwaway Volvo just had a new blower motor installed. Got kinda of warm in the truck last night when it went out. Finishing up a reset here at the yard. Leaving at 0300 for Groveport. Hopefully I’ll have uninterrupted AC for the summer.

Pertaining to the woman that offed herself at the hands of the big truck, I’m leaving it alone, no one wants to hear my thoughts on the most selfish decision anyone could make.

I think your goal is to make this Volvo the last truck you drive!!! I, unfortunatly, have at least one more as we are getting more new trucks in August and I will have to give up my rental Cascadia then.

 

Hopefully it won’t spend too much time in the shop. No more new trucks for me.
