Back in the truck after hometime with instructions to pick up in Jarratt and deliver to Groveport. Then tomorrow I get a load from Groveport to Oregon, which is nice. Especially since it's a two-stopper and it ain't due until Monday.

Getting unloaded now, this recycle place is a bit tight.....DM been messaging the planner all morning and still no reload yet....told my DM Ill head to Colton if nothing by the time Im empty. Also told her Im going to be really upset if I get all the way over there then have to go all the way back across. Wish they would give me access to the load boards so I can dispatch and plan myself.....

Get there the night before. Don’t back in. There’s a Grassmid truck that gets there as well. They unload him first because he has product on his trailer that they put on yours that’s also going to Sisters. You’ll be unloaded and leaving by 0530. You’ll have at most 6 pallets going to Sisters. Both places are owned by the same folks. Your GPS will get you to both places.

That load is in a reefer, correct? You’ll be going to Groveport or New Castle. Last time I did that load they sent me to New Castle, then down to Texas. The time before it was cheese out of Wisconsin to Groveport.

DM told the west planner to find a load that delivered by Sat cuz I only have 400 miles for the week so far. Of course he does the opposite and puts an hp load on me going to CT that delivers Monday....supposed to let me drop it in Wytheville Sat. I told them if it can't be covered then split it there and put it back on me. I don't want to do a 34 in CT after unload but I need the miles this week. Get close to Albuquerque and I pass another truck that was going 65 and before I could move over the idiot decided to race me down a hill and he gets even with me and stays there laughing thinking it is funny. There was a car behind me inches off my behind getting pissed at me, I only got 5k in the box and stuck at 71 but the car has no clue it is the other truck that is being childish and playing games. Get on flat ground and Im pass the idiot and sure enough the car whips over before I could and speeds by and gets in front of me and slams her brakes on and I move over to the right to avoid smashing her and she moves over repeatedly slamming her brakes on. Of course other truck had no radio....tried to tell him " see what your childish games caused?" Ive had it with the idiots that are getting into this industry with no common sense. Personally I think speed limiters need to be outlawed to stop the road rage, too many loose cannons behind the wheel these days and some are armed and will shoot you even if you didn't do anything. Find some other way to save fuel by encouraging the drivers to slow down by giving incentives or some other reward instead of limiting speed. My opinion is it is better to not piss off the loose cannons.
