    Great, I gotta watch a safety video on licensing, permits and reporting due to the warning about my plate peeling on the inspection sheet Wed. Even though I told my DM over a month ago to have a new plate ordered in case I got pulled over. Guess it is just easier to blame the driver when the office ppl screw up or forget to do their job instead of admitting fault and suffering whatever consequences come with said screw up....

    This is another reason why drivers don’t give a darn about these companies because no matter what the company screws up they always blame the driver for it

    I would have told them no. And when they put me on a safety hold, I’d go get a hotel room and depending where I was, rent a car or fly home.

    You did your job, as a professional safe driver, but yet you’re being penalized for someone else’s failure. But, at least you know now, that no matter where you are in this country, you’ll never pull another trailer with a missing plate. The load along with the trailer can sit there and rot.

    It was my truck plate, not the trailer, that was peeling to where half of the two letters are missing. But yeah, I did tell my DM about it. Purely on them cuz I can't order that stuff.

    This load was a little tight, think the planner forgot I was losing two hours coming east from CO. Burned the midnight oil to get here to this Kroger in OH on time by 0700, got here 0650, lol!
