I could've caught the error myself back in January if I had been paying attention. And they would've fixed it back then if I had. But apparently the absence of a whole week's paycheck wasn't important enough for me to notice, so I can't really get too bent-out-of-shape over the fact that they didn't notice either.

Besides, I ain't gonna complain about getting three weeks off. I got to spend two weeks with my kids and then got another whole week to myself. If they wanna screw up the exact same way next year, they're welcome to do so.

JohnBoy, let me see if you know or remember several years ago, I believe it was up or around Scranton or Pittston, I cannot recall the trucking company, but a driver shot and killed a dispatcher or supervisor at the trucking company that him and his wife was working at.
If memory serves me right, they had come in and he agreed to run a short trip and while he was gone, the dispatcher tried to put the "make" on his wife and when he got back in, all hell broke loose.

I know or "think" that you drove several years for Calex out of Pittston and thought you might remember this happening. I do not know what brought this to my mind but I vaguely remember it.

I’m thinking it was TRL. They were out of Pittston. Prime bought them out and took over the terminal, cleaned up the mess and carried on business as usual.

Got home yesterday at noon. Went and had lunch with my wife then went and had an MRI done on my spine. Found what is causing the issues with my back, calcium buildup on my lower right vertebrae. Went to the Dr this morning and found out it’s treatable with an injection.

Left the house at 8pm last night to deliver 10 miles away, got empty and was back home at 10pm eating some strawberry shortcake.

Tomorrow I’m having a bladder stone removed. Had this done about 10 years ago, not a very comfortable procedure, but it is what it is. Will be coming out next Monday.

The BS with Abilene and their piss poor load planning and operations department is something that will not change, so it’s a mute point to even discuss it. Like anything else in life, it all falls back on my shoulders, how much am I willing to take. Apparently alot. I keep telling myself, this job is an ends to a means. I just hope no one pops in and asks me how it is to work here.
