I’d love to get the scoop on this episode of wreck my truck. My first question? Did you really tow that truck with the tree growing out of it?

 

If that warning is on the inspection report, it’s just like getting the ticket except there is no fine towards you. Just CSA points and on your PSP as a failed inspection.
Don’t ask me how I know. I’ve had 3 roadsides in Indiana in last 2 years. One I was doing 69 in a 65. The other two were just random roadside inspections. The Inspectors where always nice… but the ‘warning’ still effects you negatively and you can’t fight it…. And the cop doesn’t have to show up in court.

Vehicle Maintenance & Unsafe Driving Speeding 6-10 miles per hour over limit, failing to conduct pre-trip inspection, and brake issues. 4 points


Hours of Service & Driver Fitness Speeding 11-14 miles per hour over limit, violating federal hours of Service agreements, failing to use a seat belt properly, and falsifying log books. 7 points

 

If I'm seeing this right, the cab tore loose from the chassis?

 

Seems like an odd way for the Indiana State Police to spend their time since it doesn't appear to generate them any revenue.

 

It looks as though the front axle was knocked out of it.
