First day back in the truck after a weekend off with the kids. Got a Hill-Phoenix load to Medford, MA. Efforts to make it to the site before I ran out of hours were thwarted by both the 30+ miles of stop-and-go traffic on I-95 in Connecticut and the 2-out-of-3-lanes closed on 84 where it took me 40 minutes to drive 7 miles.

Currently pitched up at the Petro in Willington, CT with an estimated 1hr 30min between me and my delivery. Appointment is 8:00am tomorrow, so I should be fine. Will be hitting the road as soon as my 10 is up at 5:37am just to make sure.

 

Are trucks not allowed through downtown Boston/the Big Dig? That would be my quickest way to get to I-90 from here, but my GPS very firmly does not want to route me that way.

 

Ive made a delivery in downtown like that,and my gps got funny,should be fine.

 

Well never got in touch with the del,looks like I'll be making it in morning,it's ok,by the time I get over there will have less than an hr on the 70 running recap.

Sitting in Baldwin,grab a shower in the morning and roll,hometime this weekend.

 

Those 6 days off went too fast….got meds refilled and got sent to West Jefferson with gatorade yesterday then BH to Greenville, Sc for tomorrow morning then High Point, Nc for reload and drop on the yard.

 

Both BH distributors? Or just one?
