So, while on this wonderful extended medical leave, I’ve been doing things around the house that I’ve been putting off hoping my wife would get pissed enough and hire someone to do them. No such luck.

Here’s what I’ve accomplished in between all my Dr’s visits.

    1) Cut out all the grout and regrouted our whole shower, changed out the tile on the floor.

    2) Took our XFinity modem back and got the newest upgraded one with the fast internet that allowed me to install all my security cameras that have been sitting in the boxes they came in, around the house.

    3) Put up new splash guards on all my gutters around the roof line.

    4) Finally replaced the 4 sprinkler heads that were broke making my yard look like Old Faithful every morning they went off.

    5) Helped my wife get 2 new listing ready to put on the market.

    6) Took this moonbat Chocolate Lab swimming every afternoon.

I can’t wait to get back to work.

I know the feeling. I'm only off a couple days and I look forward to going back to work to get some rest.

Got me a load going to Fresno. Currently parked at the Road Ranger in Brinkley, AR. Delivery is due Thursday morning at 8:00am local (so 11:00am by my clock). Plenty of time to take a 34 on the way. Probably take it at Russell's. Or maybe the Petro in Kingman.

JoeyJunk, jarhead0311 and Lonesome Thank this.

Today was a banner day: I managed to get ALL of my prescriptions filled at once! Won't have to worry about getting them refilled again for another three months!

Especially out on the road, where refilling prescriptions can be a significant pain in the keister.

WalMart in Flagstaff came through, though.

Dropped a load at Lowe’s in Findley, OH Sunday and did a 34 at the Pilot there. Felt my truck move as if somebody stepped up on it. Look out my passenger mirror through the curtains and see some idiot trying to syphon fuel out my passenger tank. I quietly slip out the driver side and peak around and say loudly, “ do you always steal other ppl’s fuel?” Promptly scared the crap out of him and ran him off. He didn’t get anything cuz I never park with full tanks.
