Spending the night on a ramp in Chicago, you’re a brave man.

 

I had only been driving for about 6 months at the time. I had the bravery of ignorance!

 

I know this game. My first year driving I spent the night in an empty lot at Branch Street & Broadway in downtown St. Louis. Didn’t think nothing of it. Needless to say, now I have the experience and maturity to realize what a terrible idea that was!

 

Years ago when I pulled flatbed, and before google earth, I went into Philly to stay the night at a customer. I had just fallen asleep when shots rang out, needless to say I went back out to the interstate and found a place to park.

 

Looks like I'll be taking an L today,currently at the yard waiting for the shop,said it would be atleast 4 hrs to put on the part today.

Sounds like freights slow around Richmond,I believe there rescheduling the freight going south.

Change of plans,they're not putting it in the shop stay tuned.

 

Stay away from Richmond, zero freight coming out.

 

Feels like the only things coming out of Richmond these days are Boars Head and Hill-Phoenix.

 

There will be plenty Saturday heading south

 

That is quite the journey up the hill in Wytheville.

 

That it is, I always lock the diff. in being how steep it is, lol! Ran up and down hills like that in the oil and gas fields in WV regularly and some steeper than Wytheville hill with switch backs in some.
