Typical. Had this load assigned to me since last Wednesday. Here it is 6 days later and the best they can do is get me a short 460 mile load of water from Fairfield Ca to San Bernardino. 30 hours of my life I’ll never get back. And before anyone says “they’re getting you in a good area” that’s total BS. we don’t have “good areas” anymore. But, like my wife tells me, I’m a short timer. 63 days and counting down.

I’m so glad the Knight/Swift boys back in Phoenix are doing such a bang up job with their quarterly numbers. I just vision David Jackson at the round table telling all the stuffed shirts how wonderful the corporation is doing.

Time to go to work. But first I have to put another X on the calendar.

Drop my load in Richmond Sat and load to Millington, Tn wasn’t loaded so given a few choices and picked the load going to WM yard. Get to WM only to be told I have to stay on the load because the planner messed up and never should have split it in WM cuz noone to cover to Best Buy in Ardmore, Ok. So the Reno gets taken and Im prob only going to get 1800 miles this week now instead of the over 3000 I would have had with that Reno. In my opinion the load should have just failed and the responsibility be put on the planners shoulders for said failure……shows they don’t care about anything but themselves…..rant done…..

Yeah it's kinda been a struggle here lately, but I think it's more on the office people.

They seem to have a worse turnover,in the office than drivers.

Always said over the years, the worst job in a trucking company is office people. Except maybe for the janitor.
