Taking full credit for training someone who had experience as a solo driver before applying for Abilene is a bit of a stretch. Well after your dismal track record I guess its understandable. Have you walked on water lately?

Wooooo weeeeeeee. My pucker factor is tuckered. 7 trucks to unload this morning and I was the last one in cuz I bumped my 70. Unloaded at 1330 and went down to the Pilot in Bloomington to wait on a load. Sent me one at 1600 and I called CH and they said it was already dispatched. Just as I hung up a new load came in picking up in Janesville, WI going to Gordonsville. Sent in my acceptance saying I couldn't make 0930 Wed, running recaps. Got about 30 miles up I39 and the temp dropped and the roads froze with mega crosswinds. Was feeling squirly fora few miles then the wind caught my trailer and had me sideways. Nope not gonna. Werner didn't listen to his pucker and jacked it into the ditch. Called CH and said sorry Charlie. I'm 119 miles away, snowing, sleeting, freezing and blowin. I like my company truck too much to be in the ditch so I hit the next exit.

Stretch? Nope. Full credit? Yep, just walk into Bill's office and ask to look at all the correspondence and 12 pages of progress reports, then you'll have a good understanding. Walk on water? Everyday. My wife and I will be leaving in 4 days for our 18th cruise, I'm leaving you and this blog behind. I've used up far too many resources with you. Not quite worth it.

Thank you everyone that responded! I look forward to talking with/ meeting more of you. I tested out and got my truck yesterday. Headed over to HP in Sandstone, VA and grabbed a load delivering to Miami Wednesday. Then it's time for some turkey!

Thanks Kellan. I saw you parked across from me at 5am when I left. I never heard a peep when you opened the side box and got your tool box. Glad it worked out this way. Be safe, my wife and I are leaving Friday, if you need anything call me before 5pm, after that text me, I'll have my phone with me. I won't mind helping you out, while on the high seas.

KH, he got a 2014 KW t680 with 312k on the clock. Truck was very clean, detailed and ready to go.
