Wow, it sure is freezing here in Nebraska. Got me dropping this broker load on WM yard then a 34 then the pfleugerville run for Monday off the yard.

This post was initially created in 2013. Why is it that I'm doubtful Abilene is still one of the best companies around, or am I wrong?
How did this post last this long and is still going strong?Finfn1372 Thanks this. -
@JohnBoy can update you on the company.

Trust me, they aren’t. They’ve gone steadily down hill since the buyout on March 19th 2018. But after 10 years here, it’s fine for my short time I have left. There’s a few important reasons I’m still here. The main reason? Hometime. 2 very surprising things I saw in doing my end of year highlights, one, I made 77K this year, and only worked 9 months. I had 3 full months off. They use to be a good company, now it’s a starter company that has a bunch of dysfunction. For me, I make what I need, run where I want, go home every 3 weeks for a full 7 days off, and truly have a work/life balance that’s unbeatable. At 66 years old and still enjoying my job, my biggest concern is my next vacation with my wife.RoadCall, 4mer trucker, 48Packard and 7 others Thank this.

It's like many companies, they change gradually, and it's usually not for the best.
