I hate when they send a whole platoon size of trucks on hill phoenix runs. 11 trucks and one dock….McDonalds manager wasn’t happy we were blocking the store drive, lol! Since I started my clock 0100 this morning my day is shot from sitting all morning waiting to unload. They really need to stagger trucks so many a day on runs like this.

Man, they must be short of NE Regional drivers. My load choices this morning were a delivery to Queens or a delivery to central Connecticut. I picked the Connecticut load.

Delivered this morning in Connecticut, then parked at the TA in Waterbury. Been here ever since. Fortunately I was able to snag one of the few non-reserved spots. I remember the first time I came here, it was $20 to park regardless of whether or not you'd reserved a space. But apparently they changed that policy at some point in the past. However, this is definitely one of those places where 80% of the spots are RESERVED. And also one of those places where all the non-reserved spots are full by noon. So unless you get really lucky, it's going to cost you to park here regardless.
Mind you, I have enough points on my TA card that it doesn't cost me anything out of pocket to park in a reserved spot. But I still like to park in the free spots if I can.
Long about 4:30pm, I finally got a load assignment. Live load in West Hazleton, PA, drop in Ashland, VA. We'll see if I can finagle a pre-load for the following day before the load planners go home.jarhead0311 and Lonesome Thank this. -
Got bounced up to Pooler, Ga for a load going to Mt Crawford. 1000 miles between loaded and dead head miles, Ill take it. Pretty rare I ever get reloaded in Fl when I go down there.
Lonesome Thanks this. -
Just noticed that they bumped the NE mileage bonus from 10 cpm to 12 cpm. Apparently happened sometime late September/early October.
Now if they'd just bump up base pay, detention pay, and layover pay, we might have something.IH9300SBA, Lonesome, jarhead0311 and 1 other person Thank this.
