Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

Seal got fixed, currently sitting at Sysco Cleveland waiting for a door. Already got a pre-plan to drop the empty at the Swift yard in Columbus and haul a reefer to Sterling, VA.

 

If you haven’t been to sterling before you can park overnight in front of doors 1 and 2 and they will bang on your door in the morning and have you back into door 4 unless you park in the door overnight. Warehouse across from that BH parks there truck across from door 4 and sticks out in the way so be careful backing in if you decide to park in dock 4 overnight instead of off to the side as mentioned earlier. Can be a pain if you don’t get set up just right with that truck sticking out in the way. You won’t be able to get completely straight.

 

Here's an example. I'm at Estes express and this is the pay scale topped out from what I know.

You guys have a breakdown such as this?

 

DM called and I had to go get a new fuel card being they detected some fraudulent activity on my card. Must have been hacked somehow. With cost of fuel these days Id wager their is a lot of that going on.

 

Welp, the Sterling load was called off and they put me on a Greenville load instead. Don't have the hours to make on-time delivery myself, so they're gonna swap me at some point.

 

Hanging out in Woodburn In,have a delivery about 20 miles north in the morning.

 

They apparently couldn't find anybody to swap with me, so I get to deliver this load myself. Will only be 4 hours late...

 

Been the windshield all week,today I was the bug.Got unloaded this morning,and they sent me to that madhouse in indy,dh going to Wytheville,load not ready,Indy way behind,might not be ready till tomorrow,abilene has nothing else layover it is.

 

Or is it “couldn’t care less’?
We all know what you mean though… no #### left to give….
