We do use Volvo in Jacksonville as a mini drop yard. They have some woman shuttling trailers from the port and other things. The way we abuse these places, it’ll be matter of time until we get the boot.

Of course, if they rescheduled it for a full 29.5 hours later, then they owe you layover.
Either way I wouldn't let 'em off the hook for detention/layover pay. -
Quite the day yesterday. Delivered convention freight in downtown Chicago. Did I ever mention how much I despise the Windy City? My delivery was at Freeman Moving and storage right under the 55/90 junction. Low bridges in every direction. The only way in was the best I chose to go. Between my GPS, Google Maps, looking out my windshield, jumping red lights to turn, up on sidewalks, and a few other things, we got to the receiver with the trailer intact, my nerves intact, and my stress level not to elevated. In fact, the people at this place were super nice. Easy maneuvering once on the property. My biggest problem was my Best Pass decided to quit coming back over the Skyway Bridge, so I had to whip out my credit card and pay $38.50 just to leave the Windy City.
My reload was up in Cedar City Michigan headed back to HP in Sandston. Don’t give me a choice to reload that night or first thing in the morning after the day of fun I had yesterday. I stopped 45 miles from my pick up last night and took an extended 13 hour break. Now getting loaded, fed, showered and rested. -
Ran it back to Richmond, spoke with the terminal manager, got my medicine refilled, lifes good.
