Now that bothers me, I never had to ask for a refill of my coffee, she was always there to top off my cup.

Well, c'mon! Is that a "yay", or a "nay"? Inquiring minds want to know.....

It’s a “Yay”. I just don’t understand why people quit then come back. I mean the same reasons you quit are still here. I have a buddy that I got to hire on here 8 years ago that has quit and come back 4 times. He’s now quitting for the fifth time. Talk about the mouse in the wheel.

Well, after a couple of false starts, they're moving me into truck 9353. For the non-Abileenies in the crowd, truck numbers that start with a "9" are lease-op/owner-op trucks. I have not moved into the world of leasing/owning my own truck, but the previous owner apparently couldn't make the payments and it reverted to Abilene.

It was either this or a 2020 team spec Volvo (which, I confess, did have a certain appeal). But the lure of the KW was too much. Has about 30k fewer miles on it than mine, despite being a year older. The fact that it's a 2019 may mean it's got the Allison transmission in it instead of the Eaton, and I do have fond memories of going uphill with that Allison in my first KW.

It's also brown, so that's going to take some getting used to.

Surprised they didn't put me in a new truck, and I'm going to be annoyed if they sell this one out from under me in 9 months.

Ok, my dilemma as I head to Flagstaff and San Francisco. Do I waste a truck and trailer wash on this, what can only be described as one of the oldest trailers in the fleet that looks like it just got done with 3 tours in Afghanistan or pray I don’t hit a bump big enough to have this POS implode on itself going down the road?
