they are both adorable. dogs are better then most people nowadays

 

I used to volunteer for the local Rottweiler rescue, and that is a handsome pooch right there.

 

Athena, or as I call her “mama dog”, is our sweet lab and something, that we rescued almost 5 years ago. Cool dogs @JohnBoy they really do bring a sense of joy to a home.

 

We have 2 rescue pups. Bella and Benny….

Bella rescued me 8yrs ago. We got Benny just over a year ago.

Bella is the beagle and Benny is the chow shepherd mix on the left.

 

Looks like they are already best Bud’s! This little thing was found in a basement in Western Ky almost 2 years ago. He was found with his brother after a tornado took the house and his human family. We sure didn’t need a third, but I wouldn’t take anything for him now.

 

Thats how we got our two Chaweenies.

 

My wife rescued this little guy after his 36 year old owner died of cancer and her mom couldn’t take care of the dog. Not gonna lie, I think I love him more than she does now.

 

This little guy was dumped across the street from our house. Just thrown out, along with a pet carrier. Took him to the vet, vet said he was about 4 weeks old at the time. He was the best little guy you could ever have. Unfortunately, we had him put down about a year ago. He was blind from cataracts, had hip problems, and problems with sore gums, hard for him to eat. But he gave us the best 17 years we could ever have imagined.
