Apparently the water problems at HQ were not fully resolved. While the bathrooms and showers remain open for those who need them, the entire basement is closed. Seems there was a leak somewhere, and the folks who work downstairs arrived this morning to discover two inches of standing water covering the entire basement floor.

Safety has relocated to the trailer over on the side of the parking lot, along with Nurse Brittany. If you need your new insurance and registration paperwork, it's over there.

Loads are miserable. Longest load they had available today was 217 miles to Elkton, MD, delivering tomorrow. I told 'em that wasn't worth it, so they gave me a load picking up in Richmond tomorrow and delivering in Savannah on Friday.

Bumped a Dock in Fosteria, OH and I see a number of trailers that sure look familiar and a couple Emerald Green Trucks running past the nose of my Truck.

If it was one of you, I waved.

The way this company looses customers, it shouldn’t be long until we get the boot out of there. The amount of Knight freight we haul is off the charts. Ask me how I know.

Got empty in Bethlehem Pa last night. Got to the consignee at 6:30pm for my 8pm appointment and was live unloaded and heading out the gate at 7:30pm. Only had 3:45 left on my 70 until midnight tonight so I be bopped to the Petro in Carlisle and spent the night. I have my deadhead move down to Jarratt Va to drop this empty reefer at Boars Head, then dead head back to the yard tomorrow. My load home is sitting on the yard going to Miami for Wednesday. I am scheduled to get a PM Monday morning before heading home. Don’t need a reset as I get big hours back the next 4 days, so I’ll be up early to leave.

On a side note, got a phone call from Steve, my DM yesterday. Wanted to talk about the verification of employment that safety got on Thursday from my new employer. Told him it’s something that will be addressed after I come back out on the 28th. Quiet sure I’ll be in the office Monday getting drilled.

Woke up this morning in Kenly, drove two hours to drop a loaded trailer full of solar panels on the yard. Got a call from HQ, wanting to know if I was interested in picking up a load in Prince George (30 minutes south of HQ) and dropping it at a Sam's Club in Baltimore. Those are guaranteed to have a trip back, either a trailer with pallets in it heading back to Prince George, or an empty trailer heading back to the yard. So I said "Sure."

30 minutes to the shipper, 3 hrs 30 minutes (in theory) to the receiver, 3 hrs 30 minutes back to the shipper (or 3 hrs back to the yard). 7.5 hours total, and I had 9 hours on the clock.

Thanks to NoVa traffic however, I barely made it to the Ashland TA before my clock ran out. Ate up 1hr 20 min in NoVa traffic both ways. Will drop these pallets in Prince George tomorrow morning.
