Next load drop dry van on colton yard and grab a reefer loading in industry dropping in wm sat. Planner said I could load today instead of tomorrow and of course get there and told load isn’t ready to come back tomorrow. QCOMM says 0700-1400, I don’t trust the planner so I may call the broker to make sure not set appt.

I can’t even plan my last load with these people without having aggravation while sitting home having coffee with my wife. Almost 11 years here and every time I come out of hometime it’s a deadhead somewhere to grab a load or trailer to head up to Richmond. But not today. My soon to be ex-DM is off this week but supposedly took care of me getting to Richmond. I just told whoever just called me that the truck must be in Richmond tomorrow night. Period. At this point IDGAF. I have full fuel and will drive this truck right to Richmond with or without a load. I’m trying to take the high road here but as usual, it is wearing out my last nerve.
Here’s the problem I see. Operations, on a daily basis multiple times a day, deal with nothing but drivers, quitting, abandoning a truck, calling in upset because they can’t find a parking spot, calling in because they can’t think on the fly, and the biggest issue? Can't trip plan to run the truck on time and efficiently. Then I show up and do the right thing, every load for the last 11 years and they can’t understand how a driver can do that. I just told this person that called me and told me they need to get the truck back, that when I leave a place of employment, I always bring the truck back. Then I told him it does me very good to hand you the keys and tell you why I’m leaving, especially after almost 11 years.
I just want out of here. It’s time. This is how I’ll remember my 10.8 years here.
