No more posting here from me. There’s nothing a little ole peeon like myself can do to conquer those sheetbags. I finally threw the towel in and called Principal to move my 401K money over to my IRA. Going forward, I will just smile when news comes out about KSH. I wish nothing but health and success to my former drivers. The company and corporation? Nothing but karma.

Truck was in the shop for a week. They replaced the EGR valve and the fuel pump and one or two other things besides.

Got back on the road Saturday. Drove to Wytheville with an empty trailer, picked up a load of Gatorade, took it to Mountain Top, PA. From there I went to Port Reading, NJ, to pick up a Medline trailer, to be delivered in Richmond today.

Got up this morning, hit the road towards Richmond, and I started getting the red "STOP" alarm. Normally when that happens, it is accompanied by other alerts on the computer screen telling me why. Low coolant, transmission fault, or whatever. And it also gives me a "Pull over and stop the engine or else we're just gonna turn it off automatically" countdown.

This time, it didn't do that. Just gave me the "STOP" alert. Would turn off, then turn back on. Only came on when I was driving highway speeds. Driving slow around the yard or around a rest area didn't activate it. Little maintenance wrench light also came on.

Since it wasn't actually forcing me to stop, and since it kept turning itself off, I figured it was a sensor issue of some kind. So I kept driving. Made my delivery in Richmond, drove back to the yard, and put in a shop ticket. They said they're just going to send it back to the dealership that just had it for a week.

Feeling like a slacker. This is the least amount of work I've done when I'm supposed to be working in a good while.

Dropped my Reno yesterday then got a brokered load going to Calexico. Load assignment said 10am to 1500 for live load, figured Id try to get loaded early but they really don’t open til 10 am for shipping. Lady told me had to leave and park on the street or go to the TA so went to the TA until 1000. Got back and checked in and lady asked if I had a green truck and I said yes and then preceded to get snippy with me and asked me why I stayed when she told me to leave and said I did leave then she said then why did you say you had a green truck? Lady I do have a green truck but there was three green trucks here but I wasn’t the one that stayed. Got loaded then got down to the rest area just north of Independence for the night. Got up 0200 today to get to the receiver by noon. Should have been there 1000 even after stopping for fuel but Cajon traffic stopped that from happening. Delivered at 1130 then got sent a deadhead move to Colton and told to check for empty reefer. Won’t get to Colton til morning, not enough time left on my clock. Parked at the Loves in Westmoreland for the night off CA-86.
