Well, airbag on the right side of my steer axle decided to break and deflate after driving on Indiana’s rough I70 on my way to Groveport. Breakdown sent me to the Knight yard in Columbus but don’t open til Monday so a weekend of break down pay. The whistle noise is annoying but too hot to shut down and can’t run microwave or PS5 and tv either. Parked in the back corner so I would not be too annoying to other drivers.

Been like pulling teeth to try to get any miles lately.jarhead0311 Thanks this. -
Freight seems to be horrible since I left house last month. Truck fixed but nothing available this late in the day so another day breakdown pay.

Here I sit trapped at the knight yard in columbus and can’t get out cuz they removed the keypad and put in a badge swipe deal and nobody is answering the comms. Wish they would get us badges….supposed to pick up BH to Mableton, Ga for 0300 tomorrow, hope I can spend tge night there or it is going to be late. Been a while since been to mableton.

Made it to Mableton later than wanted being nobody showed up til after 0600 to open the gate at the Knight yard. Won’t get a 10 hour break in here unless they show up late or take a while to unload. Gatorade to Byhalia next. Started pouring rain closer I got to Atlanta and put my wipers on high and heard a loud pop and no wipers, thankfully it was just the fuse that burned out.

After dropping in byhalia got a Jacksonville load which I dropped Thursday evening then spent the night there and live loaded in Green Cove Springs going to plant one which I dropped Saturday morning and doing a 34 on the yard since freight wasn’t great, needed to go to Walmart and do some laundry anyway plus put the truck in the shop to fix the leveling valve on the left side since ride height is higher on the left since the right valve was replaced on the steer axle. Assuming the valve might need replaced on the left too. EGR sensor needs replaced too anyway as well. Might as well get it all done. I swear I always get new trucks that are lemons, lol! Trucks were perfectly fine without all the emissions and computer stuff when I got my CDL 20 years ago….
Finfn1372, ExtremeUnction, dwells40 and 2 others Thank this.
