So I heard from a driver over there since the last few holdouts from the old regime are gone the Knight/Swift crew are slowly making changes for the worse. Supposedly the trucks will be getting turned down in the near future.

Id wager if the trucks are turned down and fuel solutions come along a lot more drivers will leave, guaranteed. Be micromanagement at its finest. They might as well just come out and announce stuff if so.

Well, another one bites the dust, DM last day is next Friday. Another company offered her more money. Hate when I get a good one they go somewhere else or fired. Got bounced to Indy for a Pepsi load to Wytheville which I dropped today. Got four hours left so they put a Walmart load on me off the yard that live unloads at 1630 today then bounced up to the Kelloggs in the woods in Ky going to West Jefferson. I often wonder why some places like to build facilities out in the middle of nowhere off the skinny rds….

Cheap land and tax incentives from local and state governments to build there.

My load of poptarts was finally ready at 1630 Friday. Didn’t realize that place was a bakery and not a warehouse, talked to the guy at the window for a bit and he explained how things work there. They bake the poptsrts and load them as they come out packaged. Heavy load so slow going up 119 to 64, at least it is four lanes across in and out of that place. Parked at Loves in Circleville at 2100, thankfully that place is empty on weekends usually. Dropped that load Saturday morning and was hoping for another load that dropped same day but ended up with the two stop BH to Valley Park and Fenton, MO for Monday. Crappy week this week. Parked at the Pilot in Vandalia, IL to squeeze in a 34.

Is that where they tell you to get 30 gallons here, 50 gallons there, instead of all at one stop?

That would be it, just enough to where you’re running on fumes sometimes.
